A news report was aired on Lao National Television (LNTV 1) on 9 June 2025, covering the national-level meeting and training event held at NUOL on 4–6 June 2025 under the INTEGRAL project, with the participation of all four partner universities in Lao PDR and relevant stakeholders.
The video of the news report, entitled “Meeting on the Establishment of a Climate Change Information Exchange Network” (5:51 minutes, in Lao) is also available on the LNTV 1 YouTube channel and on the Facebook page of the National University of Laos Faculty of Agriculture.
The meeting successfully created a shared understanding among the four universities and relevant government departments on the importance of establishing a geographic information sharing network to support climate change adaptation in Lao PDR. Through open dialogue and panel discussions, participants highlighted the critical role of cooperation in sharing data, tools, expertise, and educational resources to advance modern agricultural education and strengthen research capacity. The outcomes of the meeting mark an important step toward formalizing inter-institutional collaboration, aligning academic curricula with national development needs, and enhancing the effective use of geographic information technologies to support sustainable agriculture and climate resilience in the future.
