Champasack University Hosts Training Event for Agriculture and Forestry Students

GIS training in the Geotechnology laboratory created with the support of the project - 10.07.2024

As part of the INTEGRAL project — Intelligent Geotechnologies for Resilient Agricultural Adaptation to Climate Change in Lao PDR — which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, a five-day workshop and training event was conducted from July 9 to 13, 2024, at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Champasack University in Pakse City, Champasak Province, Lao PDR.

Practice session

This education and training event introduced students to the fundamental use of Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies, with a focus on the QGIS program. Designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, the workshop aimed to prepare students for deeper engagement with the four courses developed under the INTEGRAL project.
