The INTEGRAL project commenced with a highly productive Kick-off Meeting, organized by the National Technical University of Athens, the project's coordinator.
Held online on March 16, 2023, the meeting brought together 35 representatives from all project Beneficiaries and was chaired by Prof. Marinos Kavouras, NTUA.
During the meeting, presentations and discussions covered various topics, including:
- Project introduction
- Presentation of the consortium organisations and academic faculties involved in the project
- Overview of the project’s goal and objectives, workplan and outputs
- Planning activities for course design, based on user needs
- Planning the procurement of equipment for geotechnology laboratories of Lao Higher Education Institutions
- Elaborating the project’s management plan, assigning roles and establishing committees
- Planning communication and dissemination activities
- Scheduling future activities of the project.
The successful meeting marked the first milestone of the project. Furthermore, Deliverable 1.2, the project's Overall Management Plan was completed and submitted by the end of March 2023.
